The Grimshaw Huskies concluded their 2019 Wheatbelt Baseball League regular season schedule with a win at home Tuesday night.

They edged the Rycroft Rage 7-5 to earn their 5th win of the season.

With the game tied 4-4 in the 4th inning, the Huskies would score a pair of runs in the bottom half of the inning to secure the lead and the victory in the contest.

Grimshaw finishes the regular season with a 5-11 record.

Meanwhile, it was a tough loss for the Rycroft Rage as they are currently battling with both the Peace River Stampeders and Manning Mets for 2nd place in the league standings.

The loss drops Rycroft to 7-8 on the year and a game back of the Stampeders.

Peace River can now clinch 2nd place with a win Wednesday night over the Manning Mets.
