Calder Cup paying a visit to the Peace Country

The community of Fort St.John will have a special visitor this weekend.

The Calder Cup will be paying a visit to the B.C City with Fort St.John product Dennis Robertson who won the American Hockey League Championship with the Charlotte Checkers this past season.

The 28-year-old blue liner has spent most of his professional hockey career for the Carolina Hurricanes affiliate.

This past season Robertson had 5 goals and 5 assists in 49 games during the regular season and added 2 assists in the playoffs in 7 games.

An event to see Robertson and the Calder Cup will be put on at the Pomeroy Sports Centre on Saturday from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.
