Man prohibited from driving Canada-wide pulled over and charged in Hythe traffic stop

A man prohibited from driving in Canada is facing charges after he was pulled over in Hythe.

According to RCMP, on the evening of June 22, around 10 p.m. officers pulled an SUV over for an occupant restraint violation.

They learned during the stop that the driver, 56-year-old Wesley Russell Laglace was prohibited from driving Canada-wide.

Laglace is facing a charge of Operating a Conveyance while Prohibited. He was also issued a seatbelt ticket.
