An early childhood services school in Calgary that helped kids with developmental problems is being shut down by the province.

Alberta Education says it found that Big Plans for Little Kids used government grant money for things like electronics and holidays.

About 400 children will be affected.

Education Minister Adriana LaGrange says the department is handing over the file to police.
