The 2019-2020 North West Junior Hockey League regular season is just around the corner and all 6 of the league’s teams continue to get ready for the campaign.

19-year-old forward Rylee Hebert will return to the Peace Country following a one-year stint in the Heritage Junior Hockey League with the Strathmore Wheatland Kings.

Hebert played in 37 games with the Kings in the 18/19 season where he registered 7 goals and 15 assists.

He added 1 assist in 2 playoff games.

Prior to last season Hebert spent part of the 17/18 campaign with the Grande Prairie Midget AA Storm.

Hebert and the Fairview Flyers will open the 25th anniversary season of the NWJHL on September 21 when they travel to Peace River to battle the North Peace Navigators.

Training camps will begin at the end of August. More details on those can be found here.
