County road down to one lane because of high water

The County of Grande Prairie says part of Township Road 711 is down to one lane because of all the rain.

The section between Range Roads 71 and 72 is also down to a speed limit of 30 km/h and a maximum vehicle weight of one tonne until further notice.

The County says in a release that high water rain has caused what it calls “poor road conditions” where 711 crosses Spring Creek.

Heavier vehicles are asked to use Highway 40 or 43 instead.
