Lights win opener at provincials

The Northern Lights U18 AAA baseball team is off to a flying start at provincials in Fort McMurray.
The Lights used a complete game effort from pitcher Kai Reum Friday afternoon to cruise to a 9-1 victory over the Dawgs.
Reum was also named the game’s MVP for the Lights.
The Lights are back at it tomorrow at 9 a.m. when they take on the Calgary Dinos at the Ross Hennigar Diamonds in Fort McMurray.
