Van Wallaghem’s no-hitter leads Brewers over Mets

The County Brewers are now one game away from the Wheatbelt Baseball League final.

That comes following a 2-0 victory over the Mets in Manning last night in game two of their semi-final series.

Ben Van Wallaghem led the way by throwing a complete game no hitter for the Brewers.

The Brewers now lead the best-of-five series 2-0 and will go for the sweep tomorrow night at the Crosslink County Sportsplex. First pitch goes at 6:00.

Game three between the Rycroft Rage and Peace River Stampeders will go on Monday in Peace River after two postponements last week. The Rage lead that series 2-0 and are also going for the sweep.
