Lights win opener at Tier I Provincials

The Northern Lights U18 AAA baseball team are 1-0 to start the Tier 1 Provincials in Sherwood Park.
It took extra innings, but the Lights defeated the host Sherwood Park A’s 5-3 this afternoon.
They’ll play two more round robin games tomorrow as part of Pool A play. The first game goes at noon against the Parkland Twins, followed by a contest with South Jasper Place.
