Canada’s women’s volleyball team will need another tournament to qualify for the 2020 Olympics.
Beaverlodge’s Dani Smith and the rest of team Canada finished with a 1-2 record at an Olympics qualifying tournament in Russia.
After falling three straight games to Russia on Saturday, Smith recorded two blocks as Canada swept Mexico in three straight games (25-22, 25-15, 25-17) on Sunday.
