Grande Prairie man charged in Stony Plain break and enter

Aug 14, 2019 | 11:37 AM

A Grande Prairie man has been charged following a break and enter in Stony Plain yesterday.

Parkland RCMP were called to a chinese restaurant in the Edmonton suburb around 3:00 a.m. yesterday morning. Police found the glass door to the business smashed, and a witness to the crime quickly told police that the suspect may have still been inside the building. The suspect was arrested soon after without incident.

39-year-old Tex Ouellet of Grande Prairie has been charged with break and enter as a result. He has been released on his own recognizance and is to appear in Stony Plain Provincial Court on September 4.
