Speaker line-up almost set for Alberta North Sport Conference

Preparations continue for the Grande Prairie Regional Sport Connection as they gear up for the first ever Alberta North Sport Conference.

Executive Director Karna Germsheid shares how the event will target a number of different areas in sport.

“This event is going to be focused on safe sport, mental health in sport, LGBTQ’s, community in sport, grass-roots sport sponsorships, and many other things.”

They are hopeful the event can attract people from not only Northern Alberta but also Northern B.C and the Northwest Territories.

The Sport Connection has spent the summer locking down their speaker line-up for the event, and securing sponsorship.
