County Brewers claim 2019 Wheatbelt title

The County Brewers are the 2019 Wheatbelt Baseball League Champions.

They knocked off the Rycroft Rage Thursday night 8-2 in Game 5 of their best of five series.

With the game scoreless going into the bottom of the 3rd, Tyler Racansky would rope a double to centre field which kicked off a massive inning for the Brewers.

They would score all 8 of their runs in the inning.

The Rage would cut the deficit to 6 in the top half of the 4th, but that was as close as they would come as the Brewers would secure the title.

Rycroft had won the league championship the previous two years.
