Storm drop Opener of Double Header in Trail

Special teams did in the Grande Prairie Storm during their second pre-season game of the season on Saturday night.

The Trail Smoke Eaters of the BCHL scored a pair of first period power play goals, then added a short handed goal en route to a 6-3 win over the Storm.

Bryce Ospechuk, Brody Dale, and Lukas Jirousek scored for the Storm, while Lars Kaliel played the entire game in goal, making 17 saves in the loss.

The Storm trailed 3-2 and 4-2 at the period breaks.
