Man attempts to make sandwich while unlawfully entering home; now facing charges

RCMP in Stettler are reminding residents to secure their homes when leaving them unattended.
On August 16 at approximately 3:00 p.m., Mounties say a Stettler resident returned home to find a man exiting his house.
Police say the home owner and the man spoke briefly before the suspect left the area on foot.
It was later determined the suspect had entered the home and attempted to make a sandwich prior to his encounter with the home owner. RCMP believe the suspect was intoxicated by drugs at the time of the incident.
