Pirates open Canadian Fast Ball Championships with a pair of wins

The 2019 Canadian Men’s and Master Men’s Championships kicked off Wednesday morning in the Swan City as teams began competing for a National crown.

The hometown PVI Pirates started the tournament on the right foot.

They opened the tournament with an 8-0 win over the Saskatoon Angels and then concluded the day with a 3-1 victory against the Big Guy Lake Kings 3-1.

With the two wins, the Pirates sit in a tie for first place.

The Pirates will play again Thursday afternoon at 2:00 p.m.
