Flyers ink La Crete product to tend nets for upcoming season

The Fairview Flyers will have a new man in between the pipes for the 2019-2020 NWJHL.

On Wednesday the club announced goaltender Mason Ward will join the club for the upcoming campaign.

Ward spent the 2018-2019 season with the Peace River Royals Midget AA squad.

He had a 3.30 GAA and .901 SV % in 18 games played during the regular season.

In 3 playoff games his goals against averaged dropped to just 2 and save percentage increased to .940.
