Dayton Sutherland in Contention at WPCA Qualifier

Dayton Sutherland had the second fastest time on night two of the WPCA Qualification Run Off in Dewberry.

The 2019 Battle of the Rockies winner and grandson of chuckwagon great and Grande Prairie native Kelly Sutherland now sits fourth with 18 points after two nights of racing, a half point out of first.

Kris Molle, Layne Flad and Curtis Morin share the lead with 19 points.

Kelly Morin, the 2014 WPCA’s Top Rookie, had the best time of the night on Friday to move into sixth in the overall standings.

The top 6 drivers at the end of the race meet on Sunday will earn a spot on the WPCA tour in 2020.
