St. Joe’s, Sexsmith ranked in top five by Football Alberta
The week one high school football rankings have been released, and a pair of Peace Country teams find themselves near the top of their respective divisions.
The St. Joe’s Celtics slot in as the third ranked team in Tier II, which are for schools with student populations between 750 and 1249 students.
That ranking comes despite the Celtics dropping their season opener to the Holy Rosary Raiders from Lloydminster back on August 24.
Meantime the Sexsmith Sabres enter the Tier IV season ranked fifth. Tier IV is for school with a student population under 450.
