A sentencing hearing has begun in Edmonton for a man convicted of murdering two convenience store clerks.
A jury found Colton Steinhauer guilty of first-degree murder in the deaths of the employees at two different Mac’s stores in December 2015.
Jurors recommended consecutive sentences, meaning Steinhauer would not be eligible for parole for 50 years.
Another man and a teenager have also been convicted in the deaths.
