Grande Prairie outdoor pool to finish their summer season

The Grande Prairie outdoor pool will be wrapping up its summer season on September 15.

The outdoor pool re-opened a renovated facility on August 24 this year, after having been worked on for six years.

The city says the warmer temperatures in the past few weeks have encouraged high attendance, with capacity being reached twice on Labour Day.

They say they usually get around 50 to 150 swimmers throughout various times of the day.

Starting on Monday, September 9, the pool will be open from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends.

The spray park at Lion’s Park and Muskoseepi park will also be shutting down on September 9.
