Sep 7, 2019 | 10:23 AM

According to 511 Alberta, a landslide 26.5 KM north of Grande Cache has led to significant damage of Highway 40 in the area.

Traffic has been reduced to one lane about 2.65 km south of Sheep Creek road, as repairs to the highway take place.

Speed limits in that area are also reduced to 50 km an hour.

No word on how long it will take to completely fix the highway.
