Tenille Townes Claims Two Honours at Saturday CCMA Awards Ceremony

It’s been a great start to Country Music Week for Grande Prairie’s Tenille Townes.

She picked up a pair of Canadian Country Mussic Association honours at a special awards ceremony Saturday night in Calgary, including video of the year as well as Anthem Entertainment Songwriter of the Year – both for Somebody’s Daughter.

She is still nominated for another two more awards – Female Artist of the Year and Single of the Year.

Those awards will be handed out Sunday night during a nationally televised awards show at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
