Grande Prairie Best Bar None winners announced

The second annual Best Bar None (BBN) Grande Prairie People’s Choice Awards were announced last night.

Madhatters won in all three categories for best bar, best food and best staff.

The public was able to vote for their favorite accredited place between August 19 and September 2.

This was also the sixth annual BBN program in Grande Prairie, which highlights ongoing efforts of local hospitality establishment to show responsible liquor services and guest safety.

This year, 13 venues became BBN accredited:

The program is a partnership between the AGLC, the City of Grande Prairie Crime Prevention, Enforcement Services, the Fire Department and the RCMP.
