Second Whitecourt attempted murder suspect arrested

Both people wanted in connection with a July attempted murder investigation Whitecourt have now been arrested.

Whitecourt RCMP say their colleagues in Mayerthorpe arrested Elvis Parker Mustooch Wednesday at a home on the Alexis First Nation.

Besides the attempted murder and weapons charges he was already facing, Mustooch is facing a dozen new charges related to stolen property, weapons, and failure to comply.

He has been remanded and is due in court in Whitecourt October 22.

RCMP started looking for Mustooch and Kelly Judy Tuckwood after Mounties were called to the hospital in Whitecourt at 3 a.m. on July 6 after a man came in with gunshot wounds. He was treated at the hospital.
