New trail being built in Hillside area

City Hall says work will start today on a new pedestrian trail in the Hillside neighborhood.

It will be installed on 104 Avenue between 92 and 93 Streets.

That area will be closed until the work is completed.

The projected completion date is October 31.

The public is asked to obey the signs and use caution while in that area.

The project is part of the Hillside Area Redevelopment Plan, part of which calls on the city to make the area more connected by building more trails and sidewalks.
