Police say the driver of a school bus that plunged into a family’s backyard pool near Edmonton has been charged under provincial traffic laws.
No children were on the bus when it crashed through a fence and splashed into the pool in St. Albert in July.
The driver was hurt and taken to hospital, but was released the same day.
RCMP say in a release that investigators reviewed evidence provided by witnesses, video footage from the school bus and the vehicle’s mechanical report.
