Frost advisory in effect for Peace Country

Environment Canada has issued a frost advisory in effect for:

County of Grande Prairie near Beaverlodge, Hythe, Demmitt, Grande Prairie, Wembley, Sexsmith and La Glace.
M.D. of Greenview near DeBolt, Little Smoky, O’Brien Prov. Park, Big Mountain Creek, Sturgeon Lake, Valleyview, New Fish Creek, Wapiti and Shuttler Flats Rec. Area.
The Peace River, Fairview, High Prairie, Manning and Slave Lake Areas.

Temperatures across central and northern Alberta are expected to fall below freezing tonight, leading to frost.

They are reminding residents to cover up plants.
