Four charged in Grimshaw after lengthy drug trafficking investigation

Four people have been charged after Peace Regional RCMP and Grande Prairie ALERT, supported by Grande Prairie GIS and the High Level Police Dog Service executed a search warrant at a residence in Grimshaw on September 25. This followed a lengthy investigation into regional drug trafficking.

The search turned up quantities of suspected cocaine and methamphetamine, as well as materials used in the packaging and distribution of illicit drugs.

Three Grimshaw residents, 41-year-old Daniel Terrance Guerin, 44-year-old Jonathan William Roberts, and 46-year-old Liza Lorraine Roberts were arrested on outstanding warrants. They were jointly charged with 39-year-old Lorrie Kathleen Paulovich.

They are charged with:

  • Trafficking of a controlled substance (cocaine)
  • Trafficking of a controlled substance (methamphetamine)
  • Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine)
  • Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (methamphetamine), contrary to the Controlled Drugs & Substances Act.

John Roberts is also charged with resisting a peace officer and Liza Roberts is additionally charged with being in possession of ammunition, contrary to a prohibition order.

Lorrie Paulovich has been released from custody while the other three remain in custody at this time.

All four accused are scheduled to appear in Peace River provincial court on September 30th.
