McLennan RCMP have arrested four people in a drug bust.

Police say they found cocaine, methamphetamine, cash, a firearm, other weapons, and an SUV that had been stolen from High Prairie during a search Tuesday at a rural property near Girouxville.

Three MD of Smoky River residents, 56-year-old Ronald Cloutier, 29-year-old Thomas Cloutier, and 26-year-old Ember Lynn Brewster, along with 42-year-old Chantelle Barclay from Peace River, have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, firearms counts, possession of stolen property, and breach of conditions charges.

The two Cloutiers and Brewster were charged after another search of a rural property near Girouxville in October of 2018 turned up drugs, weapons, and stolen items, including vehicles and vehicle parts.
