Storm deal Osepchuk to Olds

Oct 2, 2019 | 12:16 PM

Bryce Osepchuk is on his way to Olds.

The Storm have traded the 19-year-old forward to the Grizzlys today, in exchange for future considerations.

Osepchuk has suited up just once through eight games this season, having not recorded a point. He did appear in 53 games last season, where he notched 11 goals and four assists while also adding 97 penalty minutes.

The Smoky Lake, AB product heads to an Olds team that is 2-5 on the young season, sitting in sixth in the AJHL’s South Division.

“We would like to thank Bryce for his hard work and dedication over the last year and wish him all the best with the Grizzlys,” the team stated, in a release.

The Storm’s next game comes from Okotoks on Friday in Okotoks against the Oilers. The game can be seen on Hockey TV.
