Oct 3, 2019 | 2:23 PM

Hockey Alberta has picked two players with local connections for the team that will represent this province at the National Women’s Under 18 Championship.

The blueliners include Dayle Ross of Spirit River. She plays Midget AAA hockey in St. Albert.

Forward Bree Kennedy is from Chesternere but lists Beaverlodge as the place where she played minor hockey.

The championship runs November 5 to 9 in Morden and Winkler, Manitoba. Alberta will play Saskatchewan in its first game.
