Canadian champions to be decided in Teepee Creek this weekend
The best young rodeo riders from around western Canada are gathering in Teepee Creek this weekend.
They are taking part in the Canadian Junior Roughstock Championships tomorrow and Sunday.
Director Jodi Person says the 6 to 17-year-olds will be spread across various categories in saddle broncs, barebacks, and bull riding.
“There’s a peewee age group, which is six to nine (years old), a junior which is 10 to 11, and then seniors are 12 to 14 and then novice, 15 to 17.”
