Near century-old barn damaged by fire in the County

County fire crews were called to a barn fire south of Bezanson Thursday morning.
Shortly after 9 a.m., the County of Grande Prairie Regional Fire Service’s Bezanson and Clairmont stations responded to a report of the barn fire near Township Road 720 and Range Road 32.
When they arrived at the scene they found a near century-old barn with a smouldering fire in the hay loft. The fire was quickly brought under control and damage was limited.
No people or livestock were injured as a result of the fire.
