Martinez remains unbeaten after MMA win in UAE

Grande Prairie’s Alex Martinez is now 6-and-0 in his professional mixed martial arts career after a convincing win on Friday in the United Arab Emirates.

Martinez, who trains out of Champion Gym in Grande Prairie, knocked out Morocco’s Anas Siraj Mounir just seconds into round two of their Brave CF 27 bout in Abu Dhabi.

The bout was a rematch between the two fighters. They met back in April in Jordan in a match that was declared a no contest.

The win improved Martinez’s record in brave Combat Federation to 2-and-0.
