RCMP hope sketch, renderings identify human remains

RCMP in Slave Lake are hoping a composite sketch and a model rendering based on human remains found near the town last year will help identify the victim and bring some clarity to the investigation.

The remains were discovered on October 6, 2018 in a rural area near Slave Lake. Since that time, the RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit and Slave Lake RCMP have been investigating the matter as a homicide.

  • Appears to have had a stubble beard at the time of death
