A photo radar supervisor in Edmonton has been sentenced to five years for sexually assaulting a woman he pulled over in a traffic stop.
Paul Derksen was found guilty earlier this month on charges of kidnapping and sexual assault.
Court heard that the peace officer was in uniform when he pulled over the driver about 2 a.m. on June 4, 2017.
The woman, who had been celebrating a birthday and drank four beers, testified that the peace officer told her she could be charged with impaired driving and offered to take her home.
