25th annual fall Woman’s Show takes over Revolution Place this weekend

Oct 15, 2019 | 9:21 AM

The 25th annual fall Woman’s Show is set for this weekend at Revolution Place.

The show has really grown over the years, so much so that it has outgrown its original space of the Bowes side of Revolution Place to now needing the other side as well.

This year there is a record number of exhibitors with 180 vendor booths registered.

“We get so many people that get a good chunk, if not all of their Christmas shopping done at the show,” said Event Manager Sandi Stetson.

Stetson says if you’re coming to the show, allow yourself a lot of time so you can take in the entire show.

“It’s one-stop shopping, there are so many products and services under one roof. If somebody was to try and go to all these places, it would take them several days. Here, people can just come and it’s all under one roof and they get to see some educational seminars, we have demos and we also have some fashion shows.”

She says one of the things people have asked for them to add is a place to sit and relax, so they have set up a wine and tea bar this year.

Stetson also says that everyone is welcome. Bring your husband, your boyfriend and your coworkers.

“That’s one thing that has changed over the years, more and more men are more comfortable to come in,” she said. “It’s just a show that targets women, but men are more than welcome to come.”

This will be the 35th show Stetson has done in Grande Prairie. This weekend marks the 25th anniversary of the fall Woman’s Show, while this past April they had the 10th annual spring show.

The 25th annual GP Woman’s Show goes Friday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday noon to 5 p.m. at Revolution Place.
