Missing Calgary boater found dead

The body of a missing boater from Calgary has been found on the bottom of a southern Alberta lake.

The 45-year-old man was last seen on October 5th, leaving the Kinbrook Island Provincial Park boat launch heading south towards Jackfish Bay on Lake Newell.

His body was found Saturday with the help of a privately owned remotely operated underwater vehicle.

Police are still investigating
