Annual Halloween Foot Parade set for Saturday
On Saturday, little ghosts and zombies, princesses and superheroes will take over downtown with the annual Halloween Foot Parade.
Wendy Bosch, Executive Director for the Downtown Association says children are asked to show up to the Montrose Cultural Centre dressed in their costume at 11 a.m. where there will be a parade and a costume contest.
“From there we walk just south of Montrose to 100 Ave and go trick or treating to all of the local business owners who are waiting with candy for the kids,” said Bosch.
Kids up to age 12 are invited to take part in the free costume contest and parade. There are cash prizes up for grabs.
