Peace, Athabasca Bowl finals set

St Joe’s and Grande Prairie Composite will meet in the MPFL Peace Bowl.

Comp needed a late touchdown to knock off Sexsmith 41-39, while St. Joe’s got by Whitecourt 43-13 in the other semi final.

Meanwhile the Athabasca Bowl will see Peace Wapiti Academy take on Valleyview.

The Titans beat High Prairie 44-8 in one semi, while the Cougars were 12-2 winners over Peace River in the other game.

The Peace and Athabsca Bowl games are set for next Saturday.
