Spirit River RCMP send out safety reminder after bullet holes found in a home
Spirit River RCMP are asking people to remember firearm safety after bullet holes were found in a rural home near Spirit River.
Police say they got a call about the bullet holes on October 4 and believe they were caused by hunters shooting in the area.
RCMP did not report any injuries.
Mounties are reminding hunters to be sure they know what direction their gun is pointing, not to shoot within 200 yards of any occupied building, not to fire across roads, not to hunt or shoot a half-hour after sunset or a half-hour before sunrise, and to not go hunting if they have been using booze or drugs.
