Breaking the deadlock the theme of NWJHL action Friday
The Sundown Oilfield Services Sexsmith Vipers and North Peace Navigators will battle it out for the season series edge tonight as they tangle in Sexsmith in one of two games on the NWJHL schedule tonight.
The Vipers and Navigators have each taken one of the two meetings between them this year, with both games going to the home side. The Vipers won in the season opener by a score of 3-2, while the Navs tied the season series back up last Friday at the Baytex Energy Centre with a 5-2 win.
Meantime it’s the battle of B.C. as the Dawson Creek Junior Canucks host the Fort St. John Huskies. Both teams come in tied atop the league standings with identical 7-3-1 records. These two have also split the season series between them, each taking their game at home.
Both games start at 8:00 local time.
