Titans, Cougars clash in Athabasca Bowl Friday

The first of three weekend title games goes at CKC Field tonight, as the Peace Wapiti Titans take on the Valleyview Cougars in the Athabasca Bowl.

The Titans advanced with a 44-8 win over the High Prairie Renegades in the semifinals back on Saturday at Legion Field. The Cougars head to the bowl game following a 12-2 win over Peace River.

Kick off tonight is at 6:00.

The Peace Bowl will go tomorrow at 1:00 from CKC between the St. Joe’s Celtics and GP Comp Warriors. The Celtics are going for their sixth straight Mighty Peace Football League title.

The Bantam league final, the Horner Cup, goes at 4:30 on Saturday between the Sexsmith Shamrocks and Grande Prairie Broncos, also at CKC Field.
