Snowfall warning ended in Grande Prairie

Nov 5, 2019 | 11:07 AM

Environment Canada has ended the snowfall warning it had issued Monday for the Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, and Valleyview areas.

Warnings are still in place for Whitecourt, Fox Creek, Grande Cache, and Hinton.

The weather office says there could be anywhere from 10 to 30 centimetres of snow in places.

There are also warnings in place for Rocky Mountain House, south to Canmore, Okotoks, and Pincher Creek.

Environment Canada says more northern areas will see the snow taper off this afternoon, while snow might continue into tomorrow morning in southern areas.
