Major Midget Storm fall in first place showdown

The top two teams in the AMHL’s Dodge division faced off on Sunday, with the St Albert Raiders edging the Ernie’s Sports Experts GPAC Major Midget Storm 2-1.

Jaxon Dube scored both goals for the Raiders, while Wyatt Day replied for the Storm.

The win moved the Raiders three points up on the Storm for first place in the division.

Meanwhile, the Golden Arrow Bantam AAA Storm dropped a 3-2 decision in Fort Saskatchewan, as Jaxson Walker and Reis Nyland scored for the Storm.

And the Higson Dental Group Bantam AA Storm dropped a 3-2 decision in Fort McMurray, with Jett Fogle and Dale Horseman scoring for the Storm.

The Bonnett’s Energy PCFAC Female Bantam Elite Storm got two goals and an assist from Kamryn Aebly on their way to an 8-1 win over St Albert on Sunday.

Danika Aubin, Molly Hamilton, Gwyneth Sallis, Hailey Rodrigue, Sydney Hartman and Victoria Willsey also scored for the Storm, who improved to 3-6 with the win.
