Residential snow plowing starts Wednesday in Grande Prairie

City Hall says residential snow clearing will start Wednesday in Grande Prairie.

Crews will be working in the Avondale, Cobblestone, College Park, Fieldbrook, Highland Park, Riverstone, Smith, and Swanavon areas.

The clearing works on a two-week rotation, so any neighbourhoods not finished in Week 1 will be done in Week 2.

Parking bans also kick in on Priority 1 and 2 roads Wednesday.

The bans are in place from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday until the roads are cleared.
