UPDATE: Fog advisory ended for Grande Prairie area

UPDATE (7:09 a.m. Wednesday): Environment Canada has ended the fog advisory for the Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge and Valleyview areas. It has also ended the air quality advisory for the Grande Cache and Hinton areas.

A fog advisory is in place for Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, and Valleyview.

Environment Canada says there is fog in the area that could last into Wednesday morning.

The weather office says such advisories are put in place when visibility is near zero and there is a chance it could be expanded to other areas.

Environment Canada has also issued an air quality advisory for the Grande Cache and Hinton areas.
