Canucks take over third in NWJHL after win over Flyers

The Dawson Creek Junior Canucks scored three times in each the first and second period en route to a 7-5 win over the Fairview Flyers on Friday night.

Mason McLeod and Dustin Bahm each scored twice for the Junior Canucks, while Griffin Young, Dex Elders and Ethan Buck added singles.

Kyler Hamelin, Remee Richard, Deklan Whillans, Sage Joachim and Spencer Bjorklund replied for the Flyers.

The win allowed the Junior Canucks to take over sole possession of third place in the NWJHL, two points up on the Flyers.
