Two men charged in stolen truck, flight from police incident
Two men are facing several charges related to a stolen truck, and fleeing from police.
At around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20, Grande Prairie RCMP’s Crime Reduction Unit were called to a gas station in Clairmont, responding to a report of stolen truck.
When officers arrived on the scene, the suspect truck attempted to flee, making contact with a police vehicle before heading north. The truck then swerved to avoid another police vehicle, hitting a ditch, a fire hydrant and several trees, before coming to a stop.
Thirty-six-year-old Trevor Unrau and 27-year-old Travis Paradon-Netzlaw, are facing several charges, including possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and possession of break in instruments.
